I tried making a video earlier about the dolls I need to work on, but I didn't like the outcome of the video and it felt forced. I ended up discarding the file because it took up space on my phone memory. What I gained from doing that video that I never published though is that I learned that I have 19 Monster High dolls to work on. NINETEEN! And that figure doesn't even include the Barbies and the other kinds of dolls in my tub right now.
I'm just really struggling right now when it comes to this hobby. It's not like I lost my interest, because I clearly haven't, judging from the photos I keep on liking on Instagram, lol, but I haven't really done anything that I could consider 'content' on my blog, you know?
Have I mentioned that I went to Toy Con?? Oh wow I haven't even talked about that, have I? OK, I'll post my photos soon! I went there and had low expectation of seeing dolls I like. I only saw one display cabinet from the Pinoy Na Nagmamanyika and it was filled with Wonder Woman dolls, Fashion Royalty and Poppy Parker dolls, and Barbie Model Muse dolls. That was great. The rest of the 1/6 figures I saw were like action figures, and it kind of disappointed me because... why can't we have that kind of convention, am I right? A convention filled with dolls? Why can't we celebrate doll collecting in this country?

I really need to get it together. I'm working on it. I mean, I bought a miniature trash can today. It's actually a pencil eraser, but it's shaped like a trash can so I could definitely use it for a photo. So that's a good sign, right? I haven't touched my sewing machine in months, I just don't have the time to sit down and re-learn to operate it then go on and sew little outfits for my dolls. I'm just not motivated enough, but I haven't lost all hope. I know I can get through this creator's block (A writer can have a writer's block so why can't an artist have one too? LOL). I know I can!
Have you ever felt like this? Like, have you questioned yourself why you are still in this hobby and if it's really worth all the hard work? All I know right now is that I don't want to drop everything and move on. I don't think I've reached that point, so I just don't feel so bad. I just need to push myself, that's all. Cheer up, self!!!
