Shopkins Season 4 blind basket bootleg

So I found another bootleg Shopkins blind basket, and it seems that it's a bootleg of the Season 3 basket. 

(Please bear with my filthy nails and hand.)

I spent P35 for this blind basket.

It's only packaged with card stock. No plastic wrap at all.

12 pack. Right.

I just needed to peel off the adhesive tape from the bottom so that the flaps of the card stock are free.

No bags to hide the things inside.

Who are these in the Shopkins world??

I think the bootleg basket really resembles the original basket very well. I couldn't tell the difference at all. The way the goodies inside the basket were made and painted though is another story.

If there's a bootleg of the Shopkins crate or candy jar, I'd most likely get that, too. The containers are compatible to dolls, that's why.

Violet The Incredibles doll costume FAIL

I was browsing online for dolls and found a The Incredibles Violet doll. I thought of making an outfit that looks like Violet's red suit, so I spent hours last night making one by hand. It didn't work out the way I planned it so I'm not finishing it anymore.

I used Winx Club Flora as my model because her waist is extremely slim compared to her hips, and I thought she would make a good base. I used t-shirt fabric, so the fabric doesn't stretch and fit her body very well. And I made a mistake with the crotch area because it's supposed to look like a triangle, but because of how poor the fabric is, it got stretched into a rectangular shape, haha.

I don't know what to do with Flora anymore. I'm not liking her original outfit on her, and her Daiso kimono is not a match to her personality. Maybe I'll make her a better Violet suit with stretch fabric and be done with it. I just don't know... She's a pretty doll, and has grown on me ever since my niece got hers from me, so I really want to dress her up and stuff.

Thrifting Haul, and Figure Modification

I went thrifting again, but I bought these from two different places I don't go to on a regular basis.

5 things. One of them is not toy-related.

A low doll chair for P20. (I learned that this is a Licca-chan chair.)

A Panda daruma doll for P20. I fixed the eyes because it was already drawn on with a marker. I also patched some of the stains with correction fluid.

I've never had a daruma doll with this kind of design so this is pretty cool.

A metal bookend for P20.

A Pepsi figure for P20. I forgot who she is but her name is definitely labeled underneath the cap.

A Queen Amidala Pepsi bottle cap for P20. I'm not a big Star Wars fan, but I have some Star Wars pen toppers from cereals I ate, and an R2D2 chip clip, so I thought it won't hurt to add another small item to my collection.

These do not belong to my latest thrifting haul, but both of these are thrifted from a Japanese surplus shop I used to go to. I never came back to that place anymore because it's filled with dust, and the rest of the things they are selling there seem to be rubbish. I think I bought these for P35 each.

'Kitbashed'. Is that the correct term? No?

The body. The skirt can be removed, and when it is, you can see the figure in her panties.

I found the original figure at Toy Con.

I can't identify who she is.

The head.

I stuffed black foam in there to make the attachment snug, but I still wasn't satisfied with this.

When I bought the Pepsi figure, I thought I could use the blond girl's head on the body instead.

This should be interesting.

I pulled the pieces apart. I didn't even think they came in separate pieces.

I removed the neck piece from the head, then carved a hole with a craft knife. Then I glued the head to the body using contact cement.

I think I messed up a little because I used this cheap shoe glue too and it kind of melted the paint. And contact cement is quite gooey when still wet, so it didn't help the situation.

I'm still waiting for the glue to dry. I don't feel so bad about the mess in the neck. It's such a minute detail anyway.

Buni Monztor vs Bratzillaz

I just realised that the Buni Monztor dolls I recognised before actually resemble Bratzillaz dolls.

I haven't figured out if the other Buni Monztor dolls resemble Bratzillaz. I'll look into it.

Are these called Fashion Royalty dolls? I just know they're from Integrity Toys but I have a difficulty figuring out the differences among their lines.

Asian ball-jointed dolls. I don't know what they're called. Too pale for my taste.
