Another Doll-Related Haul

Here's my recent haul.

Let me start with the doll because it's a funny story.

I saved this bootleg Frozen Elsa doll! I found her at the mall parking lot!

She was on the grass, stark naked. I felt bad for her so I took her home. I don't know if I'll do anything with her yet, so I put her in my doll parts box.

1,001 Awesome Stickers book! It was tagged as a back issue so it was like 50% off or something because I don't really know the original retail price of this. I bought this for P75.

I love this page. It's stickers that parody famous paintings and statues!

This page is about travel. Not only is it fun to look, it's also very educational.

Robots! I like this page, too.

I think these stickers would really be helpful in my crafting.

These cheap doll items: a beauty set on the left, and a tea set on the right. Each set costs only P10. I only got the beauty set because of the miniature mirror, but I've already found use for the bow clips which is cool. I hope I find use for the rest of the items so it will be worth it. The tea set is perfect for my Lottie World project for a future tea time diorama, except for the spoons because they're too big for Lottie, lol. Oh well.

A 3D miniature house making kit from Japan Home Centre! It's called Kumitate Ritsutai Hausu, or "Assembled 3D house" in Japanese.

Look, there's even a miniature print on the paper insert of what's inside. It's basically just two pieces of styrofoam boards that have been pre-cut. I already cut these prints so that Lottie might use them, lol.

I didn't take a photo of the finished house anymore, but it's really tiny. Like, only my keychain toys and select dolls that can fit in it. I'll take a photo of them by the house next time.

September Thrift Haul

I decided to come back to the thrift store today, and found these three items:

Ever After High Raven Queen Thronecoming doll, Frozen Olaf toy, and a Madame Alexander x McDonald's Wendy as The Big Bad Wolf!!

Raven, oh wow. I have a bootleg Raven. I can't wait to fix this Raven then compare it to my bootleg version. She's missing her left hand, but that's OK.

Olaf, well, I have a Elsa and Anna doll so I thought it would be fun to add Olaf to their tandem.

And The Big Bad Wolf! I've been looking for this for so long. I have Little Red Riding Hood, so I see that there would be a sweet reunion soon.

And these are the dolls I left behind.

Frozen Elsa doll with her right hand chopped off. But it lights up, and her crown is still secured to her head. I was thinking of getting her because I have a spare Elsa body, but what would I do with her after the body transplant then? I couldn't think of anything, so I left her behind.

An Irwin Sailor Moon doll! And look at all those random clothes she's wearing.

Her tiara is missing, as made obvious by the two holes on her forehead. I was supposed to get her, but I found out that she's expensive, so I let her go.

A Mattel Cinderella doll ready to go horse riding. Her legs are sculpted, even her boots. I like that her look is not as feminine as the other Cinderella dolls out there. She's just as expensive as Sailor Moon so I didn't get her either.

My First Doll Day

Recently I met up with my friend and we brought along some of our dolls. I must say, it was a fun doll day!

My friend and I unboxed our new dolls: a Ryan doll for her, and a Curvy Barbie for me. Here's Curvy, or should I start calling her Rhian now, heh.

My friend was too excited to open Ryan's box, so no picture of him in the box, haha.

Oh and I brought 2 sofas, but it wasn't enough for all the guests. Aww.

I normally go for the headache pose for Asha, because she likes showing off that she can touch her face or head, LOL. Here she is with Nikki and her fabulous animal print dress.

It was nice that Zombie Alice was full when she arrived at doll day and didn't crave for brains.

More Barbies!

Elsa hasn't taken a shower and a hair spa yet. Her hair is a mess.

Lottie and her Tita Zombie Alice. Alice can get quite overprotective of the young one.

That's why Lottie is fond of her.

Zombie Alice: Lottie, you've been a good girl. As promised, I didn't eat you. And we'll attend the next doll day.

Lottie: Oh wow you're the best, Tita Alice!

I actually had more dolls with me that day, but they weren't dressed up and needed washing and styling.

I'm Letting Elsa Go

Ok, cheesy title, but I found Disney Store Elsa at a thrift store for P150. I just had to "rescue" her.

I forgot to swipe off the crumbs next to her, haha. Sorry!

I think she's complete! Doll, dress, shoes!

Her makeup is still good!

Her hair is a mess and needs restyling.

Her dress is torn at the back. As you can see it, it came off the stitch between the sheer and blue fabric.

Flat shoes!

OK, so I already have a Mattel Elsa, and I'm really satisfied with her. I don't need Disney Store Elsa, but I think my friend does because she just bought a secondhand and nude Disney Store Anna with bad hair. I thought if I pass DS Elsa to her, she might say yes. And she did!

So I don't have to clean her up and restyle her hair. My friend agreed to do that. Whew! I'm glad she did because her dress leaves a glitter trail every time I touch it. I stored Elsa in a plastic bag now and has put her aside in a box where I keep the other things I'm going to give to my friend.

Decluttering time!

I'm also giving my friend a set of doll hair brushes for free. I got most of these from a lot of toys. I wanted the other things from the lot, but not these brushes, because I have enough for myself. I mean, I own some Monster High and Ever After High brushes which I barely use, a Liv brush (the one I like the most) and even a Winx Club brush I thrifted because the handle has wings at the end of it, haha! I also have a glow in the dark brush just like that wide pink brush at the far right of the photo which I got from my bootleg Zombie Rapunzel. Plus I like my dog brush a lot. I use it frequently together with my Liv brush. So yep, I don't need more doll hair brushes.

My friend is coming up with a doll sale for her neighbours though, so I thought those doll brushes will come in handy for her. She can include the brushes as freebies.

Also I'm giving her this baby doll chair I thrifted a while back. I thought I could modify it into an adult doll chair, but it just looks off to me. I never got around to using it, but my friend might find it useful because she bought a secondhand "4 Ever Best Friends" doll that I think could fit in here just fine.

This doll chair is called Amanda Jane. I don't know this doll.

The chair is made of hard plastic and a metal stand, with a padded cushion and rubbery belt to secure the doll in place.

The chair can be reclined.

The height of the chair is adjustable, as you can see by the three notches on the side of the chair.

My friend is still waiting for a package, which has dolls we both purchased. We're going to meet up soon, and I'm going to get my dolls from her and that excites me. I am also giving her the doll clothes and toys I bought on her behalf, and I've added other things in her goody bag. I'm really looking forward to meeting her so we could catch up on each other's life and stuff.

A Doll House for Lottie

I got a small doll house from Japan Home Centre:

It's called ハウスセット or House Set in Japanese, by Pony Co. Ltd.

Pretty In Pink

My Mattel Disney-Liv dolls have been dressed up in pink Barbie dresses.

Ariel's dress - This came from a Barbie doll my stepmom found in the house when she was decluttering. It seems that the straps of the dress are broken and removed.

Rapunzel's dress - I thrifted this dress. It's originally from Barbie Endless Curls.

Anna's dress - A dress I bought from an online seller. The straps are broken and removed as well.

/It's a Barbie Color & Wash Salon dress.

Elsa's dress - I thrifted this dress. I'm not so happy about those silver straps because they are fading and are quite tricky to fix during dressing up, but they look good on the doll.

/It's a Barbie Loves Glitter dress.

I was watching CSI on my laptop, which is on the background. Also behind them is a small photo album where I keep my Barbie doll clothes organised.

Elsa is Here

I finally got my order!

I got two Liv dolls, and a Mattel Frozen Elsa doll. One of the Liv dolls is discoloured, but I do not mind.

Elsa up close. I like the Frozen dolls from Mattel. The ones from the Disney Store are nice, too, but Mattel dolls are more accessible to me online.

Here is my gang of Disney dolls using Liv doll bodies.

Rapunzel got the discoloured Liv body, then Elsa got Rapunzel's old body. I didn't do anything to Anna, then I rebodied Ariel from a Barbie bellybutton body to my newest Liv body.

Note that Elsa has black scratches on her chest. Those scratches were already there when I bought it at the thrift store. I wonder what happened.

Oh how I wish I have a Nakoma doll, and that I have a spare Liv body for her.
