Ballet Barbara

I found this doll a while back at the thrift store. I only got her for P36, hahaha. I was really interested in her clothes.

Without the plastic. I really like the white outfit. It's composed of a white shimmery leotard, white tights, and a white tutu skirt. I actually gave the outfit to my second Disney Descendants Evie doll (Yeah, I have two now!) because she's the only one who could fit in the clothes.

Barbara's body is made of plastic, and it's hollow. She's shorter than Barbie and Liv! I don't know if she's Skipper sized.

Her hair is not generously rooted, as usual.

And her neck knob is round.

For me, she's actually a throwaway doll, aww, but I don't know who else can wear the pink outfit. It's a halter style dress and you have to remove the doll's head to secure the strap around her neck! I can only do that with Barbara and not the other dolls I have, so that's a problem. But I can probably replace the straps with a different one so that I could use it on other dolls. We'll see...

Forever Red!

My growing number of Red Rangers, lol. I don't know if I want to get more. I just know that this is a cool bunch. There's Gosei Red from Goseiger, Gokai Red from Gokaiger, and two Tyranno Reds from Zyuranger!!

I recently found this Sit In Style Kira (right), and she is so lovely. She has finally met my other Kira sculpt doll, Animal Lovin Nikki. I'll keep calling Nikki as Kira, and Kira as Marina, which is the official name of Kira in Europe!

My Madame Alexander x McDonald's toys! The cowardly lion in the front is actually missing her original hair, so I just stringed some brown yarn together, stuck it on her head with hot glue, and combed it to make it fluffy. Her hair now is big and glorious!

A Frankendoll I made last night. The head is from Hookfang of How To Train Your Dragon! I found this dragon head at the thrift store and I was like, dang, this could be a doll head.

The body is the TNT body Nakoma used to own. It has a broken neck, so I figured, I'll just hack the whole neck off with a hand saw, and stick in the dragon head. It worked!

Hookfang is wearing a turtle neck, to hide the glue because the process isn't seamless anyway. This custom doll is giving me Zootopia vibes! Do you feel it?

And... I found these inflatable cup holders at SM Department Store, at the Kids Section!! I was so surprised, I had to grab two! There were more designs like different coloured donuts, pineapple, and yellow duck, but I went with these two instead.

If you remember a previous post, I also bought an Intex inflatable boat. I think I'm going float crazy, am I right? Hahaha.

Lottie can sit in there, I guess, but she has her own pool floats that fit her much nicer.

Once Upon A Zombie Book Two: Lord of The Curtain

I just received an email from Once Upon A Zombie about the second book in their book series, and it has been revealed that it is called Book Two: Lord of The Curtain! Check out the book cover:

It features a zombie with red hair, red eyes, a gingham top and a necklace that reads "Dorothy". That's right, it's Zombie Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz!

I wonder if she will have a doll soon! Her hairstyle is a little bit close to Zombie Alice, with the two braids, but Zombie Dorothy has bangs.

I also wonder whatever happened to plans of releasing Zombie Snow Queen and Zombie Red Queen... are they pushing it through? Lots of questions for one of my favourite doll lines.

The book, as I looked up online, had been in the works since 2015. Thank goodness that it's coming along nicely.

Lottie's World: Sandbox [More Photos]

In a previous post, I shared a photo of Lottie playing in a sandbox. Now I just thought it's all right to post the rest of the images. What was I waiting for, anyway??! I don't even know.

I felt really challenged while shooting this, because I had no idea if the scene looked natural. I didn't play in sandboxes when I was a child, so I had no real experience to learn from. But I do have a memory of reading a Sesame Street book about building sand castles, and I had to give up that book because I lost a school library book and gave that away as replacement. It's called Big Bird Can Share. I found a book reading video on YouTube. Awww:

Goofing Off With Asha

The day I was about to leave Bohol, I realised that I've only taken photos of Lottie and have never touched the pool at the resort, so I brought out Asha and check out the pool.

Before I even left for Bohol, I took these photos of Asha because I wanted to say thanks for the pillow I got from a fan meet for a band I like, and tease my newfound friends in the process because I want to make them jealous, lol.

Asha's basically acting out the part of a big fan that couldn't contain her excitement, so she was all over this tiny pillow.

At first I was doubtful that the fans would like my doll. I had that fear that some people just might not understand adult doll collecting, but I was totally floored that they do!! Some asked for Asha's name, and one even asked me what kind of Barbie she is!

There were also people who told me how life-like she looked, that they've mistaken her as a real person at first glance, or that they thought that the pillow was really huge.

I also met an old friend and a new friend recently, and I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that they also bring and photograph a personal toy (in their case, plush animals) with them whenever they go travel! They get it, they get me; I'm with the right crowd!

It's funny how these photos made the fans feel jealous again, because they feel protective about these guys, while here comes a doll ~stealing their man while looking cute. LOL. It's all for fun, nothing serious.

I might bring Asha to a series of yoga classes soon. Nothing's set in stone at this moment, so we'll see. In the mean time, I need to make shirts Asha can wear during yoga!

Lottie's Trip To Bohol [Day 4]

Lottie didn't want to leave the resort, lol. But our flight back home was very early so we had to get moving.
