Lottie Wildlife Photographer Mia Doll

OMG, this is great news. Arklu is coming up with a new doll from the Lottie Dolls line called Wildlife Photographer Mia!! I got the photos from the International Design Awards website:

The source is this link:

Mia the Wildlife Photographer was created to reflect the brand's mission which is that childhood should be an inclusive place, where every child belongs regardless of gender, ethnicity or ability. Mia empowers children to become inspired by wildlife through her packaging elements, her appropriate clothing and her STEAM focused accessories. Mia's got six photo-style collector cards included in the doll box which are inspired by real kids, nature photos submitted by children as part of an international photography competition to encourage fans to get involved in Mia's design. Mia wears a cochlear implant, which is part of her story rather than a focal point; as reflected in the Lottie chapter books. Mia is a collaboration with 'Toy Like Me' a UK non-profit who campaign for diversity in the toy-box and for better representation of disabilities so that differently abled children can see themselves reflected in the toys they play with.

Mia's face sculpt is different from Lottie's. It might be Finn's? But her faceup, hair colour, hair texture and skin colour really work well together! She's gorgeous!

What do you think of her? I think her red outfit is striking. Her outfit caught my attention very quick! Her box is also good looking! I hope Arklu comes up with more dolls!!!

Once Upon A Zombie Zombie Tinkerbell Prototype Doll

Once Upon A Zombie sold another prototype doll on their Ebay page. This time, it's a Zombie Tinkerbell prototype! Here's the Ebay link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Collectible-Zombie-Tinker-Bell-Prototype-Doll-/152501631733.

I wonder what they'll sell next. We'll see...

Once Upon A Zombie Book Two: Lord of The Curtain

I just received an email from Once Upon A Zombie about the second book in their book series, and it has been revealed that it is called Book Two: Lord of The Curtain! Check out the book cover:

It features a zombie with red hair, red eyes, a gingham top and a necklace that reads "Dorothy". That's right, it's Zombie Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz!

I wonder if she will have a doll soon! Her hairstyle is a little bit close to Zombie Alice, with the two braids, but Zombie Dorothy has bangs.

I also wonder whatever happened to plans of releasing Zombie Snow Queen and Zombie Red Queen... are they pushing it through? Lots of questions for one of my favourite doll lines.

The book, as I looked up online, had been in the works since 2015. Thank goodness that it's coming along nicely.

/Look, the cover has also been shared on OUAZ's official Instagram page:

More Once Upon A Zombie and Fairy Tale High Prototype Dolls

I went over to Toonstudiostore's eBay page and found more prototype dolls they've sold! All photos are owned by Toonstudio store:

A Zombie Snow Queen prototype doll! She reminds me a bit of Elsa from Frozen, but this is just a prototype anyway. It's not so bad.

A Zombie Tinkerbell prototype doll! She looks so different from the doll shown in toy fairs a few years ago and was not even released.

A Teenage Pinocchio prototype doll! Oh those shoes look great!

How I wish I could buy at least one of their prototype dolls.

Once Upon A Zombie - Zombie Pinocchio and Zombie Prince Charming Prototypes!

I was quite surprised that Once Upon Zombie sold off their prototype dolls of Zombie Pinocchio and Zombie Prince Charming on eBay for $4.99 each!

Zombie Pinocchio prototype - eBay

I think it would be great if OUAZ creates a Zombie Pinocchio doll that is in scale with the rest of the Zombie Princesses. He could be a lot shorter but still with the articulation of the other dolls.

I thought Zombie Prince Charming here was a cosplayer, omg! But it's actually a doll. His face is quite feminine, and his elbow joint looks like an action figure's. I hope they come with a better suit for him. He could be taller than the Zombie Princesses.

They also have other doll prototypes on sale, which makes me curious!

Fairy Tale High prototypes! Who would have thought they planned to make boy dolls for this line too??!

And there's this line called Pop Art Princess that I've never heard of, but it seems so interesting and very current!

Pop Art Princess Captain Kitty prototype

I would love to adopt Captain Kitty but I don't have the money, lol!

Pop Art Princess prototype

I dug online even further and checked out trademark names filed by United Trademark Holdings, Inc.. Whether they would make toys out of these names, I have no idea, but it would be cool to see their prototypes!
  • Teen Romeo and Juliet
  • Zombie Romeo and Juliet
  • Pop Art Heroes
  • Pop Art Princess
  • The Snow Queen
  • Teen Wicked Witch

More Doll Dress Up Games (with Zomby Gaga)

So I played at StarSue.net again!

I did this a while back. It's a dress up of Mira Shards from Ever After High. I made her look darker because her character is evil.

I don't know what I was thinking when I dressed up Miraculous Ladybug this way. Maybe I was projecting Jollibee onto her, lol. But I actually had a marathon of Miraculous episodes two days ago, so I thought it would be fun to make another one for Ladybug. Here is my old dress up of her.

Shoppies Poppette from Shopkins. I like her original popcorn themed outfit and didn't want to stray far away from it, so I didn't give her pants or shorts. This is all right.

Teen Tinkerbell from Fairy Tale High. I wanted her to look more rough and boyish, but those pink wings are a mistake. I couldn't get rid of them without resetting the whole look so I went with it.

Zomby Gaga from Monster High! I haven't talked about her yet on this blog, ha. Lady Gaga's doll will be available next year! I enjoyed making these the most because of the music playing in the background. It's so catchy and fun!

I don't like her hair here as much as the others because she looks like she's balding, lol.

This is my favourite look for her. I wonder if I can do something similar on an actual doll. Oh ambitions.

Kuu Kuu Harajuku Doll Line Preview

I know that Gwen Stefani had her own doll line. The clothes were really good, but I'm not sold on the dolls because of the big head small body ratio. The body reminds me of a clone Bratz body, haha.

Anyway, this month, it was announced that Gwen is releasing a new doll line through Mattel very soon. It's for her own animated show on Nickelodeon called Kuu Kuu Harajuku. Here's a preview photo:

Oh that cute little doll!!

Kuu Kuu Harajuku doll - G

I learned that her name is G. She's named after Gwen, I suppose, because the other characters in the show are Love, Angel, Music and Baby, which are actually the stage names of Gwen's dancers, the Harajuku Girls.

It looks like her knees can bend. I wonder if her arms do too.

I had no idea about this show until I found out about the doll. If you want to read more about the show, here's a file I found, which I think is a media kit for the show. I read that they're going to be released in 2017. Can't wait to see the fashions of this doll line!

What do you think of these Kuu Kuu Harajuku dolls now??

DC Super Hero Girls Dolls Coming To Manila Soon?

I just saw this post from Richwell Club, which distributes Barbie here in the Philippines.

The photo is the silhouette of the DC Super Hero Girls characters!

I'm excited to see the dolls at my local toy store when they finally arrive! I want to see Harley Quinn, Batwoman and Poison Ivy in person.

Christmas 2016 Shopkins Shoppies Dolls?

I just saw a photo of upcoming Shoppies dolls. I could only identify a new Jessicake doll (left), that's about it.

Photo from RGI Christmas Trade Show happening now. Source

I'm curious about that girl on the right! Who could it be? What's her name?

/Apparently this is the Shopkins Season 6 Chef Club series.
Left to right: Jessicake, Bubbleisha, and Donatina (with short straight hair)!

Out and About

New toys and stuff.

Betty Spaghetty is back.

Num Noms yogurt cups are now available too.

But they're so expensive! I still want to have at least one Num.

I forgot what these are called but they're square shaped plushies, sort of like those plush Tsum Tsums, but square, and not Disney related.

Grossery Gang. I think it's like a cross between Shopkins, The Trash Pack, The Ugglys, and Garbage Pail Kids in the 80s.

"Terror Corpse." I thought they're official Walking Dead merchandise, but nope. Just cheap zombie figures, if you're getting the pack of 3, not this boxed solo figure.

The packs of 3's. There are more than 3 zombie characters, surprisingly.

Not at the toy store, but at Mac Cosmetics. They have Barbies as part of their promotional campaign.

Even their glass windows are adorned with Barbie decals.

This is the full photo of the neon lit board they have in-store. I like the teal dress. It's so glamourous.
