Doll Impulsions (Part 5)

Oh my gosh, Cinderella the live action doll. This is actually cheap! I saw this post late so I wasn't able to get her.

I don't collect actual Madame Alexander dolls, but I have six Madame Alexander-McDonald's ones and find them really cute.

I would like this Holly Hobbie doll for her dress! I think Lottie might fit in this.

This is the first time I've seen this Hallmark Cards Knickerbocker Betsey Clark doll. I don't like her face that much, but Lottie won't say no to a dress like that.

A Heidi Remco Pocketbook doll. Super cute!

I'm curious about that doll in the middle, the one with dark hair and denim shorts. I wonder what doll that is.

Ah!!! This used to be one of my grail dolls, a cat burglar doll from Barbie Spy Squad. Since I made my custom cat burglar doll though, my obsession with this doll has died down a bit, but I don't mind having her.

Ooh a Wreck-it Ralph tumbler, in the shape of an arcade game machine. Its design is based on the Fix It Felix game in the movie. So cool!! It reminds me of my Pixels tumbler

Wow, Gumby and friends! I have two Gumbys, and if I ever find his friends at the thrift store, I will get them!!!

Chelsea in a Christmas tree outfit. So cute!! I want to make one for Lottie.

Oh this lovely dress, it is pastel coloured and looks really dainty. It reminded me of Licca.

A Photo Dump! [Part 11]

I took these photos a couple of weeks ago.

Oh new blind bags from Playmobil. I heard on YouTube that they are quite difficult to assemble at times.

Shopkins food fair blind... cookie jars?

Sour Flush toilet candy.

I'm not sure if this is 1:6 scale. It might work?

I bought a DohVinci pack for P200 because I was curious about the airdry playdoh. I have no use for that peace sigh frame thing so I kept it in its packaging, haha.

I wanted to make doll shoes with DohVinci but my first attempt was a fail. I think I'll be more successful with just plain bathroom tissue paper and water or water/glue mixture. DohVinci is fun though. I'll think of something so I can still use it.

My Daruma doll collection so far. It's not much, but it's fun to collect these because they even don't cost that much when bought secondhand.

Gumby and Little Gumby on his shoulder! These two Gumbies don't look the same though, have you noticed?

My Hiragana fridge magnets, which is not complete, and a movie fridge magnet I won as a prize.

I found the Hiragana magnets from a Japanese thrift store. If you could read the first two lines on there, you can find Nonde kudasai which means Please drink, and Yaseru, which means to lose weight, haha. I was only able to come up with those things given the limited number of magnets available to me.

I also have a collection of magnets, mainly magnets from different countries, not in photo.

Rocket and Groot in one photo, finally! They are not of the same scale, but hey, Groot is very small in the upcoming movie sequel, okay!

I took a photo of budget Raven Queen because I didn't see her when I took these photos. There are actually more Ever After High dolls available locally now, like the book party dolls, the Dragon Games dolls including the forest pixies, and I even saw extra tall Madeline Hatter! I don't like this doll version of Madeline though because her hair looks so greasy and flat.

The new My Little Pony Equestria Girls minis are out, too. To me they are more adorable than the dolls, haha.

I found this brochure of Brother sewing products at the book store.

I wonder when I can have my own sewing machine. Their cheapest machine costs around P10,000.00. Sigh.

I bought a cheap Vespa scooter for P25. It looks promising.

I took this while waiting at the car wash.

It says on the back that there is assembly required. This is not true. Maybe the original scooter needs assembly, but not this cheap Vespa!

Look, I can even flip the top of the seat up, and the stand at the rear wheel also works! I didn't need to use the mini screw driver or the extra wheels for it. It's good to go as it is!

It lacks a lot of detailed painting, but I'm OK with it. Sadly this is not 1:6 scale. More like 1:12 but I'm pretty pleased with this miniature scooter!

A Photo Dump! [Part 4]

This is my haul last Friday.

It's not much.

A Burger King Anastasia doll. She has painted underwear and shoes, and her hair grows like a Crissy Doll. There's a gear on her back that can be used to adjust her hair length.

She has a red stain on the back of her legs, and her price was written on the sole of her foot. When I cleaned her up using acetone (not pure), her white underwear paint came off, so I just decided to remove all the white paint. The price on her sole won't come off completely so it will stay there.

This doll cost me P60. In my previous post, you can see her wearing a Daiso uniform which she stole from Frankie, a red cap from a Goya Bits minis (yes, the chocolate!) container, and some doll shoes I bought from Vivo Citi.

A Gumby figure by Jesco Hong Kong! I have a very small Gumby too which I thrifted on a different occasion. Now they can enjoy each other's company!

By the way, what I noticed on this HK toy is that Gumby's head is much pointier compared to the American version. The thumbs are much thinner, too.

Gumby cost me P28.

This is the train case gashapon I couldn't stop looking at whenever I find it at the toy store. I got the Germany train case. Not my favourite out of the bunch, but it's still cute. There were even sticker flakes inside the capsule that are all about Germany. I've already put them all in my sticker flake book.

This one cost me P120, but I didn't pay for tokens out of my pocket but with my card points.

An Angry Birds kid's shoelace. I thought I could use it as a belt of some sort for my dolls. This costs P35.

The train cases from the machine. Aren't they cute??!

I was actually debating with myself if i should get the train case or this Hello Kitty ice cream set which costs the same, but I got turned off by those big ice cream scoopers, haha. They're really cute though and I think they cost much cheaper than Re-Ment stuff.

I didn't buy this at the thrift store, but I want to share this anyway. This is a McDonald's Shopkins toy from a Happy Meal, and my stepmom got this for me together with a Rabbids figure which is also a Happy Meal toy. She put both toys in a package sent from New York to Manila, woo! In my previous post, you can kind of see what I got, which is a green tote bag, and an orange Flippa Flops. I also got a pink Judy Jumper in the blind bag that came with it.

I found this last Friday too but I didn't get it. It's a Novi Stars Space Dreamer fashion pack! I found it at Toytown in Glorietta 1, and it was on sale for P150.

I was thinking so hard and for a long time about getting it because I do have a Novi Stars doll, but this pack only comes with three items: the outfit, the shoes and a teddy bear. That's like P50 each if you think about it, and even if the bear is kinda cute, I would never pay P50 for something that tiny. For a little teddy bear? No. The shoes would fit Barbie, I think, but I don't want to keep buying Barbie-sized stuff anymore.. which leaves me with the outfit. So I thought so many times to myself, is it really worth it to pay this much for this outfit?

The back of the box. To be honest, I never thought I'd find anything Novi Stars-related in toy stores anymore. Then bam, a fashion pack!

Oh and I finally took a photo of the toys my cousin left behind
