Thought I'd Share...

I think it's just normal when you blog and you just caption your blog post with a sucky title, lol. I clearly don't have any idea what to name this post, but okay... hahaha.

On Instagram I found cute.vintage.dolls and she was kind enough to photograph her Tammy (middle) and Sindy dolls (left and right). Oh my, Tammy is such a tall lady, isn't she?I thought they'd be the same height. Thanks cute.vintage.dolls for taking this photo for me!

Wouldn't it be funny to use these stickers for dolls? I could buy these things and stick them on clear acrylic doll packaging, cut them out and make accessories for dolls, haha. I have yet to make eyeglasses for my doll. I have some acetate sheets that I think I can use for this craft.

If you've read my blog before, you'd already know Cattleena (left). I changed her outfit with this dress I found and is too short for Lottie.

Then I had a few spare parts so I played with them. I had a spare Liv doll head, and the body of Nyla from I Love VIP Pets. I put them together, et voila! It's Sophie the dog, hahaha. DO NOT FEED HER!

I found a Raggedy Andy plush doll at the thrift store and he still had his tags. I thought I could resell him, but nah, I'll just keep him because he's in such good condition. I still have to wash him though.

And I found a BFC Ink doll! It's Aleisha (right) and she's supposed to be a twin of another doll named Noelle. They're so pretty! This is the second time I've handled a BFC Ink doll. The first time was when I found Addison at the thrift store but didn't know what the BFC Ink dolls were, so I left her behind. When I came back to the store, I just found her body. Somebody pulled her head off and bought just that, then left her body at the store, ugh. But I got her body and used it for my custom cat burglar doll.

Fairy Doors and More

I found these two fairy doors at a surplus shop. One is broken, but it can easily fixed with glue, and the other looks fine.

I didn't get any of these because I already have a pink one.

I saw this wooden checker board magnet at Kultura. It would look nice in a doll living room, right?

These are plush toys on my bed. Those two on the left are Alf. The big one is my childhood toy, while the smaller one is a thrift store find. The other two are gorillas that were given as part of a care package from the US.

My McDonald's Peanuts toys. The one in pink is an old soccer Snoopy toy with wheels and music, but the battery is dead. I just painted everything with pink because its colours were starting to fade.

I have two Charlie Browns. One of them has two voice recordings in English, while the other has them in Japanese! Yup, the other one is from a Japanese McDonald's. It was a thrift store find.

I didn't realise that I have a Peanuts table mat that matches my Peanuts collection. I just didn't think of placing them all together for a picture until this photo happened.

And here are my two I Love VIP Pets hybrids, Dakota and Nyla, finally in one photo. If I get another I Love VIP Pets toy, I can make room for one more because I have a spare body. I mean I could totally rip apart my Chelsea-Breyer hybrid for a VIP Pet hybrid, haha.

I Love VIP Pets Nyla

One of my contacts is a toy seller, and one night, she made a Facebook post about a familiar looking toy. Anybody who would be able to identify the toy would get the toy for free. I knew what it was, it was an I Love VIP Pets toy but I had to use Google to figure out the name. It's Nyla! So I left a comment on the post, and I was the first to guess, so I won the toy. After a week, I got the package!

Here is Nyla! Her hair is wild, and she has a stain on her right eyebrow, but no biggie.

I removed her dog body and replaced it with a Breyer doll body. The body came from a veterinarian doll, and the neck knob was too small for her, so I had to thicken it with masking tape and a loom band.

The colour matching is awful, but I don't mind.

I wasn't that patient with her hair though. I only styled the front with braids, then tied everything else in a high ponytail. The rest of hair has too much volume, they can stay up like that without any styling product.

Her ribbon is from a La Dee Da fashion pack. Her dress is from the Sea Monster doll of the Monster High Color Me Creepy set. Her shoes are bootleg Bratz shoes that split in half so even if the shoe shape is not the best for her, she can still slip her feet in there. I secured the shoes with loom bands because they do come apart easily. The shoes give her extra height, haha.

Because the joints of the body are too loose, she is not able to sit up right all the time. I have to pose her with her legs wide open and her hands supporting her from the back, if I want her to sit nicely.

I now have two I Love VIP Pets hybrids; the first one is Dakota, which also has a Breyer doll body! They have yet to meet. SOON!

Saving Red Ranger

I found another articulated Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Red Ranger figure, and it pleases me. He was missing a right arm and his left knee was busted, but I knew I could fix him.

I had an extra arm that kind of matched Red Ranger's other arm. So I painted it white. It took a while because the paint resists the plastic a bit, and it looks like a bad paint job because of the streaks, but it's OK.

I also removed the existing peg in the left knee joint of Red Ranger, and replaced it with a toothpick.

Here's Red Ranger after the hand transplant and knee surgery.

He has yet to meet my S.H. Figuarts Red Ranger figure with a dragon shield, and my Gokai Red figure, both mentioned on a previous post.

Some of My Barbies

I took photos of some of my Barbies because I had nothing to do, lol. Some of them have been rebodied.

Fashionista Nikki. I like that coat but the sleeve holes are quite small.

Sweetie. I did not know what to put on her so I came up with this.

Nikki with flat feet.

Summer.

Film Director Nikki on a ballet body.

Fountain Mermaid Christie. I love her pink hair.

My Afro Nikki, Foxxy Cleopatra. She's a ballet Barbie on Film Director's body.

Animal Lovin Nikki whom I call Kira instead.

Hawaii Midge looking a little drunk, don't you think.

California Dream Midge. I like her hair up in a bun.

Trichelle from So In Style. I have not removed the swimsuit I made for her since July last year, lol.

Two random blonde Barbies I put in dresses.

And a Chelsea-Breyer hybrid. I thought it's a cool match. The body is from a Veterinarian Breyer doll.

Red Ranger's New Hands and More Hybrid Dolls

So I found new hands for my Red Ranger!

I found these hands at a Japanese thrift store. I think they are S.H. Figuarts hands? The holes of the hands are too big for Red Ranger's wrist knobs, so I used masking tape to thicken the knobs. It worked!

Red Ranger playing rock, paper, scissors with himself.

Power! Energy! Yeah!

So this is how babies are made.

STOP.

LET'S DANCE! *tsugs tsugs tsugs*

FIGHT ME WHERE I CAN SEE YOU! WHERE ARE YOU??!

SHHHH... Let me think for a second.

I don't know what Red Ranger is doing here.

Red Ranger trying to be formal, I guess.

Speaking of transplants, look what I did to my Liv dolls:

I decided to do body transplants to three dolls I think would look nicely together.

Left: That's Mary Kate Olsen. I broke her neck plug when I was removing her head, aww. And her neck hole seems to be much smaller than Barbie's, so she's looking like a giraffe over there.

Middle: Sharpay Evans from High School Musical. My friend got her for free from a lot of dolls she recently bought. She didn't want her and decided to give her to me. She's also looking like a giraffe because of the small neck hole. I wonder why she has a tan. I don't remember Sharpay being tan like that.

Right: Hannah Montana! I got her in a Barbie body first, but I decided to transfer her head to a Liv body, and oh boy, Hannah already has two neck plugs lost inside her head. I couldn't pull them out because her vinyl is very tough.

So now I have two hybrid doll groups with Liv bodies: Mattel Disney princesses, and these TV personalities. Soon I'd like to photograph them in one place.
